Morse Code Quiz
Sixty seconds, as many characters as you can. Read the code, or switch to copying by ear.
Which character is this?
Two ways to play
Read the code shows dots and dashes and asks which character they are — good for checking that you know the chart. Copy by ear plays the character instead, which is how Morse is actually received and is much harder. Your best score is saved for each mode and alphabet.
Mistakes count against you only by costing time: the correct answer is shown and the next question comes up. The quiz picks characters you got wrong more often.
Make the quiz part of learning
The quiz is a check, not a teacher. To actually learn the characters by sound, use the trainer, then come back to see your score climb.
Questions
What is a good score?
Reading the code, 30+ in a minute means you know the chart well. By ear, 20+ means you recognise letters without counting.
