Morse Code: 7 Alphabets is designed as a privacy-respecting, offline-first utility. The Morse content you create is processed on your device and is not sent to our servers. To keep the app reliable and improve it, the app uses Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports, as described below. We do not require accounts and do not sell your data.
We do not ask for your name, email, or account, and we do not sell your data. The app has no advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, and no cloud sync of your Morse content. The one category of data we do collect is anonymous usage analytics and crash diagnostics through Google Firebase, described in the next section.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how features are used and to diagnose crashes. These tools collect technical and usage information such as your device model, operating system version, app version, language, and in-app events (for example, which tools or screens are opened). When the app crashes, Crashlytics also collects diagnostic data such as the crash stack trace and the app's state at the time. Firebase may derive a coarse, country-level location from your IP address; this is not used to identify you or your precise location. The data is linked to app-generated identifiers rather than to your name, and we use it only to improve the app's reliability and features. It is processed by Google acting as our service provider; see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
The app offers two optional purchases. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks combined sound and flashlight signaling; you can try the combined mode free a few times before buying. An auto-renewable subscription unlocks the daily learning lessons and starts with a 7-day free trial; it renews until cancelled in your App Store settings. All purchases are handled by Apple's App Store and StoreKit; we do not receive your payment details, and learning progress is stored only on your device. Encoding, decoding, alphabet charts, sound-only signaling, and flashlight-only signaling remain available without any purchase.
Text you type, Morse output, decoded text, selected alphabets, playback settings, and reference searches are processed on your device. Settings may be stored locally on your device so the app can remember your preferences. We do not receive this information.
The app may request camera permission to control the device flashlight when you use Torch signal output. The app does not take photos, record video, analyze camera frames, or upload camera data.
If you choose a copy action, the app can place Morse code or decoded text on your device clipboard. Clipboard use happens only after your action and is handled locally by the operating system.
The app uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics), and Apple's App Store and StoreKit for purchases; the data these involve is processed by Google and Apple as our service providers, as described above. Apart from these, the app contains no third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or social SDKs, and we do not sell or otherwise share your data.
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If the app's data practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the effective date above.
